Landscape Photography -- Imaging our World

The classic "Grand Landscape", perhaps more than any other genre, represents the quintessential photographic art form.  We’ll explore a range of subjects from bold, expansive wide-angles to more selective and intimate compositions.  We’ll discuss skills and features already at your disposal as well as advanced techniques and specialized tools to maximize productivity and in some cases enable capture of challenging subjects not possible otherwise. 

Format:

--Seminar includes extensive Digital Slideshow & Equipment Demonstration--optionally followed by guided Photo Outing.

What to Bring:
--Writing material for notes
--For guided photo outings, bring along your camera and its manual, your camera bag and everything in it, external flash units, tripod, sun block, insect repellent, bottled water

--A few images representative of your work or of problems you're hoping to resolve.   This is totally optional, just to share and discuss privately following the presentation.  I'd love to see what you've been up to!  I'm not a big fan of the word "Critique" and promise only gentle and constructive feedback.
